Accepting Applications for District Parent Trainers

STEP uses a workshop model across the state to inform families about their rights and responsibilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. We contract with individuals to provide those workshops. These individuals cover a designated region and deliver an average of 12 workshops per year as scheduled by the Coordinator in their region.
There are currently District Parent Trainer positions open in East, Middle, and West TN. If you are interested in being considered for one of these contract positions, please follow the process outlined below.

STEP is actively seeking to give employment opportunities to persons who experience disability, minority status, and/or are family members of persons with disabilities.
